InnerCrows: Sparkly Things To Nurture Your Inner Crow

Brass and Copper Handmade Jewellery

Our Story

I am Cheryl Horgan and I began making jewellery about 25 years ago, more as a form of therapy than as a business. I had no idea that I had any talent or ability to produce anything like this. I studied anthropolgy and saw what some of the ancients were doing and thought to myself that if they were doing such amazing metalwork with what they had at their disposal, then I could do it with what I had at my disposal.  The rest is history...

Our Vision

My vision has always been to create fine artisan jewellery and make it available at a reasonable price. I think that everybody should be able to afford art.

The Story Behind The Jewellery

All metalwork is available on a made-to-order basis. Each unique piece is made especially for you, so it will not be an exact match to what you see in the picture. It will be yours, and yours alone.

I can make nearly any image to go on the item you want, just message me. I am pretty sure we can find exactly what you are looking for because my design collection is pretty vast.

Just contact me email and we will get to work making your Inner Crow very happy.

It all began about 23 years ago when I came to a conclusion... If the ancient civilizations could produce incredibly beautiful metalwork pieces with the primitive equipment that they had at their disposal, then dammit, why the heck can't I do metalwork based on the modern equipment I had at my disposal?

This was several years PG (pre-Google), so there was a tremendous amount of trial and error, torch burns, chemical burns, ugly brooches... Then one day, I had done it! I finally figured out how to make the metals stick together! I was off and running! I had a vivid imagination, a huge whack of creativity,  a source of recycled metals, and thirst for knowledge.  The rest is history.

Now, we are several years AG (after-Google), and there is more info than one person can take out there to learn about making jewellery. I have learned a lot, most of it still trial and error. My style has evolved several times and I am often amazed at the things that I create, wondering where the source of the inspiration comes from to be able to be a designer. All I know is this: I will never argue with it!
